22 Jun 100 years of the Aston Martin A3 – RGS goes for a spin…
What a great day out with friends and like minded people at the Aston Martin Heritage Festival.
The Aston Martin event was a spectacular celebratation of the 100th birthday of A3, the oldest surviving Aston Martin. It was the third car built back in 1921!
The amazing history of Aston Martin was laid for every one to see, we walked through line-ups of almost every Aston Martin ever built! Everything from modern track cars to old time classics, back to the age of the A3. They also unveiled a very special new Aston Martin limited edition, a limited-run Vantage Roadster which sports unique design cues from the A3.
An amazing way to mark the 100th anniversary of the A3.
To top it off, we felt the wind in our hair with an amazing ride out in a vintage Aston Martin from Ecurie Bertelli. The cockput might not be too familar for some with pedals and gearsticks in all kinds of places, it definately made for a memorable drive!
We will keep you up-to-date with the latest upcoming events so you can get to enjoy these old girls at some point too.
